Requirements

• BSN, RN or higher; ASN permitted if willing to return to school for BSN within 2 years of hire.
• Current RN licensure in the State of Illinois, active and in good standing.
• Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in clinical nursing.
• 1 year pediatric experience, plus 1 year inpatient acute care/hospital setting experience strongly preferred.

• Charge or preceptor experience.

Responsibilities

• Support nursing staff in providing compassionate and top-quality patient care.
• Work in a 45 bed Emergency Department with mixed acuity.
• Care for a patient population ranging from 0 days to 21 years.
• Collaborate with a diverse team including nurses, paramedics, and pediatric specialists.
• Participate in hands-on experiences and trauma simulations during orientation.
