About The Position

The Experienced Recruiter at Hazen and Sawyer will play a crucial role in the talent acquisition team, partnering closely with leadership to identify and attract top talent in the water industry. This hybrid position requires a minimum of three days per week in-person work and is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, non-bureaucratic environment. The recruiter will manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing candidates to facilitating onboarding, and will contribute significantly to the growth of the organization.

Requirements

  • 8-15 years of experience in recruitment, with a strong background in full-cycle recruitment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization and with external candidates.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple roles and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with sourcing tools and strategies, including social media, internal networking, and external networking.
  • Excellent data management skills and ability to develop an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Knowledge of employment laws and best practices related to hiring.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand recruitment needs and job requirements.
  • Proactively source and engage passive candidates through job boards, social media, networking, and referrals.
  • Screen and assess candidates, providing recommendations based on qualifications, cultural fit, and potential.
  • Manage candidate pipelines, ensuring timely follow-ups and a positive candidate experience.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews, providing guidance to hiring managers and candidates throughout the interview process.
  • Assist with job offer negotiation.
  • Conduct reference checks as required.
  • Coordinate with HR on offer letter requests, onboarding, and candidate data.
  • Lead coordination of entry-level hiring, including regional coordination for career fairs and implementation of an entry-level resume tracking system and dashboard for hiring managers.
  • Assist in vetting and contract negotiation with outside recruiting agencies.
