About The Position

Experienced Quality Systems Specialist (Regulatory Regulations) Company: The Boeing Company The Boeing Company is looking for an Experienced Quality Systems Specialist (Regulatory Regulations) to join our team onsite in Everett, WA or Seattle, WA. As a member of the Designated Regulatory Office (DRO) you will support FAA Certification activities conducted under the authority of The Boeing Company ODA-300064-NM by the following Boeing business units. Boeing Commercial Airplane (BCA): Type Certificate (TC) or Amended Type Certificate (ATC) for Development programs Production Airplane–Major Change programs Airworthiness Certification Production Certification programs Boeing Global Services (BGS): Post Production Modification programs Military Commercial Derivative Airplane (MCDA) Post-Production Modification programs Service Bulletins Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) and Amended Supplemental Type Certificate (ASTC) programs Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS): MCDA Post Production Modification programs MCDA STC and ASTC programs

Requirements

• 6+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 6+ years of Quality experience.
• 6+ years of experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
• 6+ years of experience working with composites materials and processes.
• 6+ years of experience reading and understanding engineering drawings and schematics
• 6+ year of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS)

Nice To Haves

• 6+ years of previous experience in publication and online writing techniques.
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher
• Experience in specialty materials

Responsibilities

• Assists in review of proposals, contracts, regulatory, program and customer requirements to prepare quality assurance plans and tests for hardware and software products, processes and services.
• Maintains Quality directives, policies, processes, procedures and metrics to assure program, contract, customer, regulatory requirements, international standards and working agreements are deployed using established procedures.
• Collects and verifies data to support the identification of root cause routine problems.
• Provides ideas and concepts for corrective action development.
• Supports quality source selection and process reviews of suppliers' ability to meet program quality requirements.
• Assists with hardware, software and system level audits to determine compliance with quality management system standards, configuration assurance, related business, regulatory and customer requirements.
• Documents audit results in standard formats.
• Compiles data and provides recommendations for material review disposition.
• Works under general supervision.
