About The Position

The painter is responsible for operating equipment that applies a powder coat finish to a variety of raw materials while maintaining Lozier safety and quality standards. The painter mixes and applies paint by disc, handgun, or other method and sets up equipment as required by quality level and other methods as required. This position requires operation of the paint booth, parts washer, and ovens.

Requirements

• Previous painter experience preferred.
• Reliable attendance.
• Communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment that applies a powder coat finish to raw materials.
• Mix and apply paint using disc, handgun, or other methods.
• Set up equipment as required by quality level.
• Operate the paint booth, parts washer, and ovens.
• Wear appropriate PPE.

Benefits

• $24.71 per hour for 2nd shift.
• $1,000 bonus after completion of 90 days of employment (subject to taxes), applicable to new hires only.
