Rogers Group is seeking motivated, punctual, and safety-focused Experienced Paving Equipment Operators with previous paving experience for our Construction Team in Murfreesboro, TN.

Requirements

• An uncompromising focus on safety excellence.
• A minimum of 1-2 years of asphalt paving experience is preferred.
• Experience working with road construction in high traffic areas including some experience with MUTCD traffic control.
• Must be able to regularly lift and/or move heavy objects.
• Ability to work outdoors which could include inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt.
• Valid Drivers License required.

Nice To Haves

• Higher pay for skilled operators of heavy equipment with highway construction experience.
• Pay rate bonus for CDL license holders with tanker endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment of various sizes and weights used in road, site or highway construction and paving.
• Perform minor servicing and maintenance of equipment; refer major problems to the Supervisor.
• Perform daily pre-and-post inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with company policies.
• Follow directions of Supervisor as to daily tasks and expectations for each specific project or job.
• Perform general labor duties when necessary, and other duties as assigned.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends, as necessary.
