Requirements

• Certified Optician (or in the process of certification) preferred.
• Experience in frame styling, lens selection, and optical dispensing.
• Comfort in a sales position with a focus on personalized patient service and eyewear recommendations.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly, patient-oriented attitude.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to manage inventory systems.
• Lab experience is a plus but not required.
• Prior experience in a similar role is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with frame selection, lens options, and fittings.
• Interpret and verify prescriptions, ensuring accuracy and understanding.
• Educate patients on proper eyewear care and maintenance.
• Comfortably guide patients through the sales process, offering personalized recommendations and solutions.
• Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure seamless patient care.
• Manage inventory, including frames and lenses, and handle ordering as needed.
• Provide adjustments, repairs, and modifications to eyewear.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment.
