About The Position

AdventHealth Medical Group is looking for an experienced nocturnist Cardiac Critical care APP (Nurse practitioner or PA) to join our growing critical care team as a PRN! We are seeking an APP, with a team player mentality, and a dedication to continuing our tradition of excellence in both clinical practice and professionalism, while maintaining AdventHealth's mission, vision, and values. Our Cardiac Critical Care team is ultimately comprised of (3) physicians and (2) advanced practice providers. Our team collectively provides advanced care to critically ill patients in the 14-bed closed cardiac CVICU. The position requires a 7 on-7 off schedule. Set schedule of (6pm-6am). This provider will work collaboratively at night with an attending physician to cover the Cardiac Intensive Care Units at AdventHealth Daytona Beach.

Requirements

• Board Certification: Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
• DEA License required (or ability to obtain)
• Active FL license (or ability to secure active, unrestricted licensure)
• Ability to perform procedures
• Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced care to critically ill patients in the Cardiac Intensive Care Units.
• Collaborate with an attending physician during night shifts.
• Perform necessary medical procedures as required.
• Maintain excellent communication with the healthcare team.
