Requirements

  • A Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree from an accredited medical school
  • Successful completion of an accredited residency program in Neurology
  • Valid and unrestricted medical license in the state of employment
  • Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Neurology through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) or an equivalent recognized body
  • Current DEA registration

Nice To Haves

  • Fellowship training in a neurology subspecialty (e.g., stroke, epilepsy, neuromuscular, movement disorders, multiple sclerosis, or neurocritical care) is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients presenting with a variety of neurological conditions.
  • Developing and implementing tailored treatment plans that address each patient's specific needs.
  • Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams will be integral to your daily activities, ensuring an integrated approach to patient care.
  • Support telemedicine initiatives for overnight and weekend coverage, thereby enhancing the accessibility of neurological care for our patients.
