  • Perform basic engineering tasks necessary for each project including zoning, equipment layout and coordination, heating/cooling load calculations, and coordination with other teams.
  • Prepare Design Development Drawings and Construction Documents in collaboration with other squad members and senior team members while applying relevant code knowledge to system design and layout.
  • Coordinate corrections to plans/designs with the AHJ and other team members during the agency approval phase to support project permitting.
  • Provide Construction Administration services during the construction phase to aid in the execution of design.
  • 3-5 years of industry experience required.
  • Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and drafting skills required.
  • Working knowledge of current codes/standards for building projects within the State of California, including California Mechanical Code, CALGreen Code, and California Energy Code.
  • BSME degree, technical degree, or other industry-specific work experience demonstrating high levels of technical capability required.
  • Excellent time management and project prioritization skills.
  • Software skills: AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, MS Office365.
  • Training in BIM preferred but not required; Revit MEP preferred.
  • PE strongly preferred.
