  • Perform most of the basic engineering tasks as necessary for each project including zoning, equipment layout and coordination, heating/cooling load calculations, coordination with other team(s), etc.
  • Prepare Design Development Drawings and Construction Documents in collaboration with other squad members and senior team members as needed while applying relevant code knowledge to your system design and layout.
  • Coordinate corrections to your plans/designs with the AHJ and other team members as needed in order to support project permitting during the agency approval phase.
  • Provide Construction Administration services to aid in the execution of our design during the construction phase.
  • 3-5 years industry experience required.
  • Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and drafting skills required.
  • Working knowledge of current codes/standards for building projects within the State of California including: California Mechanical Code, CALGreen Code, and California Energy Code.
  • Excellent time management and project prioritization.
  • Software skills: AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, MS Office365.
  • BSME degree, technical degree, or other industry specific work experience which demonstrates high levels of technical capability required.
  • Training in BIM preferred but not required.
  • Revit MEP preferred.
