About The Position

Are you a talented marine professional who thrives on variety, solving complex challenges, and keeping yachts in top shape? Diversified Marine Services is looking for an Experienced Marine Services Technician to join our dedicated team servicing yachts from 20 to 130 feet. What You’ll Do: As a key part of our team, you’ll design, service, repair, and replace a wide range of marine systems, delivering best-in-class care for every vessel. Your work will include: Electrical systems and electronics Air conditioning, heating, and galley systems Fresh, gray, and black water plumbing, storage, and pumps Propulsion and generator fuel, cooling, controls, and steering systems Ventilation, monitoring, and safety systems You’ll also handle: Winterizations and spring commissioning Engine and generator scheduled maintenance Custom systems design and installation Rigging inspections and vessel monitoring Every day is different, with responsibilities like job planning, troubleshooting, system research, testing, sea trials, and detailed customer walkthroughs. You’ll maintain clean trucks and shop spaces, complete clear service reports, and contribute to initiatives that help us grow and improve.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of solid, hands-on marine systems experience
  • Expert in marine systems operation, design, installation, and repair
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills with sharp attention to detail
  • Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints
  • Comfortable using Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Commitment to safety and best practices, always using PPE and understanding standards
  • Independent, trustworthy, and requires minimal supervision
  • A true team player with excellent communication skills and a drive to help others
  • High School Diploma or GED (minimum)
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean record
  • Must provide your own tools

  • Advanced certifications (ABYC, NMEA, OEM) highly valued
