About The Position

The Sales Consultant at Porsche Design of America is responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience by leveraging expert product knowledge to drive sales. This role focuses on building long-term relationships with customers, achieving sales goals, and maintaining a professional store environment. The consultant will also engage in various sales techniques and ensure adherence to company standards.

Requirements

  • High School diploma required; college degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a high-end luxury retail sales environment preferred.
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong customer service and sales orientation.
  • Ability to navigate a POS system effectively.
  • Experience in luxury timepiece sales is a plus.

  • Experience in retail sales for 3 years or more

Responsibilities

  • Build long-term recurring relationships with customers through effective sales techniques and product knowledge.
  • Achieve and exceed sales goals aligned with Porsche Design Store objectives.
  • Meet and exceed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as sales per hour and units per transaction.
  • Stay updated on new product developments and market trends.
  • Develop problem-solving techniques to address customer issues.
  • Maintain professional relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Assist in loss prevention through attention to detail.
  • Merchandise products according to Porsche Design standards and directives.
  • Complete daily assignments to maintain a presentable sales floor and stock room.
  • Assist with receiving and displaying merchandise shipments.
  • Follow and complete management directives and other assigned duties.
  • Accurately use the POS system for sales, returns, and customer data entry.
  • Maintain a client book and engage in clienteling activities.
  • Participate in physical inventory and cycle counts.
  • Utilize security measures effectively and adhere to safety protocols.
