Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; automotive technical training or certification preferred.
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
  • Automotive repair and maintenance experience preferred.
  • Strong willingness to excel and learn is essential.
  • ASE certification preferred but not required.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs regularly and work in various physical conditions.
  • Capability to inspect and perform repairs, including bending, stretching, kneeling, and squatting.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Must pass a background check and hair follicle drug screen.
  • Candidate will need to provide their own tools.
  • Experienced Lube Technician is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform oil changes, tire rotations, and basic automotive maintenance with precision and efficiency, following dealership and factory standards.
  • Diagnose vehicle issues and perform necessary repairs.
  • Inspect vehicles for additional service needs and install optional equipment as specified by the customer or dealer.
  • Inspect and test drive newly delivered vehicles for damage and missing components.
  • Report machinery defects or malfunctions to the supervisor and maintain dealership tools and manuals.
  • Communicate effectively with the Parts Department and service advisors to ensure timely and accurate service.
  • Ensure vehicles are kept clean and in optimal condition, reporting any discrepancies immediately.
  • Uphold high safety and ethical standards, maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support dealership operations and objectives.
