About The Position

JBC Utility is seeking an experienced Lineman to join their telecom construction team in Bow, NH. Requirements

• Valid Driver's License
• Ability to pass a background check with no DUIs or felonies
• Ability to obtain a DOT physical
• Good driving record
• Knowledge of safe operation of bucket trucks
• Willingness to work overtime, nights, and weekends
• Ability to travel as required
• Comfortable working in inclement weather
• Must not be averse to heights

Nice To Haves

• 3 years of experience in lineman and aerial construction (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Installing, maintaining, operating, and repairing overhead cable TV and fiber-optic communication lines.
• Operating a bucket truck while adhering to safety and traffic regulations.
• Installing pole framing and placing stands.
• Climbing poles as required for installation tasks.
• Operating hand and power tools of all types.
• Installing guys and anchors according to quality standards.
• Producing large volumes of work with accuracy.
• Completing all daily related paperwork.
• Maintaining the truck, including stocking and cleaning.
• Overseeing the safety of anyone operating in or around the job site.
• Maintaining a safe work environment and following customer requirements.
