The Boeing Company is looking for an Experienced-Level Product Data Management Specialist to join the C-17 Globemaster III sustainment efforts at Hindan Air Force Station, India. The selected individual will be required to deal directly with military customer personnel daily. The applicant must demonstrate the ability to adapt to a different cultural environment. Candidates should also have previous experience working in an environment where flexibility is essential and prompt responses to ad-hoc customer requests is expected. Candidates must have good communication skills, both written and oral, and have experience working with minimal supervision. This is a Long-Term Assignment to Hindan Air Force Station, India for up to 4 years. Relocation/assignment benefits to the international location will be provided. The incumbent will work at a U.S location until international assignment contingencies are met. Relocation benefits from the base work location (or current living location) to the international location will be provided. This will also include repatriation benefits back to the U.S. Ability to meet international assignment health requirements required. If accompanied, family must also meet international assignment health requirements.

  • Verify that the customer logistics data management records received meet documented regulations and coordinate with customers to resolve routine problems regarding data accuracy and data integrity.
  • Transcribe the customer data into the appropriate data systems, including the US Air Force FMxC2 system, C-17 Standard Flight Data Recorder, and C-17 engine Quick Access Recorder repositories.
  • Ensure data quality, maintain process records and files, keep accountability records and make final disposition of data, records and files.
  • Respond to customer requests for a variety of pre-programmed and customized C-17 data reports extracted from the data systems, principally from the US Air Force FMxC2 system.
  • Perform product data management and configuration status accounting tasks in support of Department of Defense contracts.
  • Work with general direction and may be asked to support other programs or perform other duties as needed.
  • Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance.
  • Prior experience utilizing the Field Maintenance Command and Control (FMxC2) Management System.
  • Experience working under pressure in a fast-paced role with strict deadlines.
  • Must be able to support a 24/7 on-call environment.
  • Ability to travel 10% of the time domestically and internationally.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts.
  • Associate's degree or higher.
