Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience implementing Lean principles, to include identifying opportunities and making recommendations for value stream improvements that resulted in improved business position through culture transformation.
  • 3+ years of experience planning and facilitating Lean+ workshops (e.g., Boeing Problem Solving Model /Accelerated Improvement Workshop / 3P Production Preparation Process / Kaizen / Value Stream Mapping, Process Mapping, Distribution Kaizen)

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Project management certification
  • Knowledge and application of the Boeing Production System (BPS)

Responsibilities

  • Connect Lean principles and apply Lean tools that achieve key performance indicator targets
  • Support improvement through innovation and replicate where possible
  • Operationalize data analytics into daily Lean practice and priorities
  • Instruct others in continuous improvement tools and principles -- tailor message to specific audience level
  • Develop and update instructional materials as applicable
  • Lead and facilitates process improvement efforts
  • Develop an integrated strategy and assists with its strategic deployment
  • Apply and integrate improvement processes and tools across Huntsville Site
  • Assess business capability and capacity
