About The Position
As an Experienced Interior Trim Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing Interior Trim parts for North American-based vehicle projects. Your role will involve performing design-releasing duties, developing innovative solutions to enhance cost, mass, performance, and quality, and overseeing the engineering concepts through to mass production. You will also create and present technical reports to communicate project status and results, recommend engineering improvements by assessing current designs and competitor benchmarking, and mentor fellow engineers within the group. Additionally, you will generate and complete advanced development projects related to part- or system-level improvements for future vehicles. The position requires some travel, up to 15% of the time, both domestically and internationally.
