What would you do as a Experienced Heavy Equipment Operator As a Full-Time Experienced Heavy Equipment Operator at Allied Development Group, you will be instrumental in executing diverse earth-moving and utility operations that drive our projects forward. Your daily responsibilities will involve the operation of heavy, motorized equipment such as dozers, loaders, and excavators, ensuring that each task is completed with precision and efficiency. You will take charge of critical activities including land clearing, topsoil stripping, building pads, and managing fill and export operations. Furthermore, your expertise will be essential in grading streets, sidewalks, drives, ponds, lawns, and parking lots, all while upholding the highest safety standards. What you need to be successful To excel as a Full-Time Experienced Heavy Equipment Operator at Allied Development Group, you must possess a combination of technical skills and personal attributes that ensure effective operations on job sites. A strong understanding of daily and weekly work plans is essential, as is the ability to read drawings and layout stakes accurately. Proficiency in operating dozers for both bulk and finish grading operations without GPS is crucial. Additionally, the role requires self-motivation and the ability to work independently without constant supervision. Adhering to the Allied Employee Safety Policy is a must, as is completing pre-inspection checklists before operating equipment. You will be responsible for daily maintenance tasks, including greasing machines and keeping the cab and windows clean. Punctuality, physical readiness, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds are required. A valid Ohio driver’s license is necessary, and passing pre-employment and random drug testing is mandatory for this role.
