About The Position

Evercore seeks to hire an Analyst for its Private Funds Group located in New York City focusing on GP-led transactions. The team provides comprehensive, global advisory services on capital raising for select private fund managers, including investment firms pursuing a spectrum of alternative investment strategies such as private equity, private credit, and infrastructure/real assets. The group has an over ten-year track record in fund placement and has developed a reputation for representing some of the highest quality managers in the market. Analysts will be involved throughout the full fundraising process covering pre-mandate fund analysis and due diligence, preparation of marketing materials, development and execution of marketing strategy, interaction with target investors, and securing of fund commitments. Requirements

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong quantitative skills and acute attention to detail.
  • Mastery in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
  • High level of initiative and self-motivation; ability to work independently and at a fast pace.
  • Enthusiastic about the private equity industry and capacity to learn quickly.
  • Outgoing and achievement-oriented character.
  • 0-1+ years of professional experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Help execute on fundraises for institutional clients across private equity, private credit, and infrastructure/real assets.
  • Cover pre-mandate fund analysis and due diligence.
  • Prepare marketing materials and develop marketing strategy.
  • Interact with target investors and secure fund commitments.
