About The Position

Group Description: PFG provides comprehensive, global advisory services on capital raising for select private fund managers. PFG's clients include investment firms pursuing a spectrum of alternative investment strategies including private equity, private credit, and infrastructure / real assets. The team has an over ten-year track record in fund placement and has developed a reputation for representing some of the highest quality managers in the market. PFG advises and executes on all aspects of the fundraising process, including competitive positioning and market assessment, preparation of marketing materials, investor introductions and capital closings. The group serves a vital function in the fundraising market by identifying and executing on sources of capital that may not be readily accessible to its clients. What is the Position? Evercore seeks to hire an Analyst for its Private Funds Group located in New York City focusing on GP-led transactions.

Requirements

• Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong quantitative skills and acute attention to detail.
• Mastery in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
• Ability to demonstrate a high level of initiative and self-motivation.
• Ability to work independently, across a variety of responsibilities and at a fast pace.
• Enthusiastic about the private equity industry and demonstrate a capacity to learn quickly.
• Enthusiastic, outgoing, and achievement-oriented character.
• 0-1+ years of professional experience preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Private equity fundraising experience is not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Help execute on fundraises for institutional clients across private equity, private credit and infrastructure / real assets.
• Involved throughout the full fundraising process covering pre-mandate fund analysis and due diligence.
• Preparation of marketing materials.
• Development and execution of marketing strategy.
• Interaction with target investors and securing of fund commitments.
