Experienced "Casual" Floral Designers Needed
About The Position
Royer’s flowers & gifts is 87 years old and still we're still growing! With 19 retail locations and two distribution hubs in two states, we are offering opportunities for you to join our team of over 300 flower professionals. Still family-owned and operated, we are a leader in the floral industry and we're seeking individuals who would like to continue to bring comfort and joy into people’s lives. We are looking for individuals with fresh floral design experience who are interested in working intermittently, or on an "as needed" basis, during floral holidays as well as other busy times throughout the year. Love the industry, but not necessarily working every day/week? This may be exactly what you are looking for! Positions are available in all of our retail locations.
Requirements
- Able to design according to specifications
- High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent)
- Minimum 1-year floral industry experience
- Able to stand for up to 8-10 hours
- Knowledge of the many different varieties of fresh flowers
- Able to make decisions, communicate effectively, take direction and work unsupervised
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more.
Responsibilities
- Work in a store as a designer of fresh flowers
- Other duties as assigned.
