Are you a skilled mechanic who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment? Join our team as a Vehicle Shop Mechanic and play a vital role in keeping our diverse fleet running smoothly all year long. From rugged snowcats and earth movers to shuttles, buses and company vehicles, you’ll work on a wide range of equipment essential to the guest and employee experience at our mountain resort. This full-time, year-round position offers stability, great benefits, and unbeatable perks! As a key player in our Vehicle Shop team, you’ll perform scheduled maintenance, diagnostics, and on-site repairs while collaborating with fellow technicians. You’ll also assist in vehicle recovery and special projects; all while enjoying the unique challenges and rewards of a seasonal mountain operation. Requirements

  • Must be at least 19 years of age for insurance purposes.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Advanced understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to perform work in all outdoor weather conditions including snow and rain.
  • Must be able to commit to working weekends and holidays during the winter season.
  • Must be comfortable with the changing dynamics of a seasonal business.

Nice To Haves

  • Basic Welding Skills.
  • ASE Certified.
  • Equipment operation experience (Snowcats, Plow Trucks, Snowmobiles).

Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled maintenance on a diverse fleet of vehicles.
