About The Position

McKenna BMW is looking for an experienced Automotive Service Technician. Technician job duties include: · Performs automotive services and repairs on automobiles. · Performs maintenance and repairs on automobiles. · Responsible for removing, installing, diagnosing, repairing, disassembling and assembling parts, components and engines. · Performs all duties according to safety procedures. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. · May be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty. · Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. · Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. · Works under immediate supervision. · Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment. Requirements

  • 1 or more years of previous experience in Automotive Service Technician role
  • Proficient at operating a personal computer including Microsoft Office: E-Mail, Excel and Word
  • Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
  • Confidence in your ability to be successful
  • Outstanding communication skills in both verbal and written
  • A desire to work in a commission, performance-based, environment
  • Great attitude with high-energy personality
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Professional appearance and work ethic
  • Timely follow-up
  • Ability to work well in a process-driven environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver license in the state that you will work and a good driving record
