We have an exciting opportunity for a Experienced Fire Systems Technician (Fire Alarm Technician) located in Fond du Lac, WI. Under the guidance of a Superintendent, the Experienced Fire Systems Technician is responsible for the inspection, service, and commissioning of fire alarm and special hazards fire suppression systems while ensuring the work is performed in accordance with safety, design, budget, and schedule parameters. You will demonstrate your top-notch customer service skills by interacting with customers on a daily basis and leave them with the satisfaction of knowing they can count on Ahern for their future needs.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience or equivalent education and experience.
• NICET Certification Level 1 is required.
• NICET Certification Level 2 is preferred.
• VESDA Certification is a plus.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
• A commitment to maintaining cutting-edge industry knowledge.
• Ability to execute tasks with a great amount of detail.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, service, and commission fire alarm and special hazards fire suppression systems.
