About The Position

The Boeing Company - Finance Shared Services is in search of a dynamic and talented Experienced Financial Analyst to join the Financial Analysis Capital Team (FA CT) in either our Everett, WA, Auburn, WA or Seattle, WA location. In this role you conduct financial analysis and reporting, collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial data contributing to the development of capital forecasts. The ideal candidate should bring strong communication skills, critical thinking skills and the ability to analyze data to make informed decisions affecting capital investments. The ideal candidate will also have the ability to adapt to rapidly changing environments to meet deliverables.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher
  • 3+ years of experience in a business-related function (including but not limited to: Finance, Contracts, Estimating, Procurement Financial Analysis, Business Operations, Supplier Management)
  • 3+ years of work experience with the Microsoft Excel application using: formulas, VLookups, pivot tables, charts, filters, and linking worksheets
  • 3+ years of experience creating executive level presentations using Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Experience working with large data sets required (e.g. Excel, PowerPivot, Tableau and/or Microsoft Power BI)
  • This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years of experience working with a non-finance partner on both financial and operational objectives
  • 3+ years of experience working with financial tools
  • 1+ years working near a production environment
  • Experience identifying process improvements in Value Stream Mappings and the Boeing Problem solving Model
  • Experience in financial compliance standards
  • Experience with project management and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience utilizing Microsoft Office Products for financial modeling and analysis

Responsibilities

  • Integrate with Boeing Global Services (BGS) project managers to ensure accurate forecasting, performance to plan, and appropriate capitalization of assets.
  • Drive dialog with BGS financial leaders to understand and assess the financial landscape of a portfolio of capital projects
  • Collect, compile, sort and document source data to support analysis of capital forecasts, including depreciation.
  • Develop performance reports
  • Integrate variance analyses and provide understanding of operational and financial performance to senior management
  • Make recommendations to senior management on financial performance projections using financial and business knowledge and experience
  • Support process improvement initiatives
  • Train and mentor junior analysts
  • Complete peer reviews
  • Exhibit a positive attitude and willingness to serve as a change agent
