About The Position

We have an immediate opening for an energetic esthetician with experience. We want to work with someone who provides exceptional customer experience while collaborating with a team who will help fill the skin health schedule. The esthetician role within Restore is unique in that these specialty skin health services are essentially like their own business within the Restore studio, and therefore a lot of direction will be handled by the esthetician. The skin health services pair very well with Restore’s science-backed therapies like IR Sauna, Cryotherapy, Compression, IV Drip Therapy, mild Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, and Red Light Therapy. But we have discovered Skin Health is a unique side to our business and it’s growing. We need someone with passion and growth in mind. We are willing to invest in you and our services, but we need someone that cares. We have put so much focus and effort on the medical side of the business that it is time to grow the skin health area of our business. But if you are just looking to show up with built-in clients like a destination hotel spa and it’s no bother if you’ll ever see these clients again, then this is not the right fit. You will work directly with the owner and our team to create an exceptional experience for your clients. You will have your own esthetician room We offer a Hydrafacial machine Marini Skin Solutions and Hydropeptide products Lightstim Elipsa Red Light Therapy Custom Facials and Chemical Peels We will ask that you help us manage your clients, however we have a front desk that will help with booking, scheduling, and general inquiries especially when you are not there. Restore is locally owned and operated by Dr. Joshua and Kristin Clarkman and opened in January of 2025. Restore Bellingham is part of a nationwide network of Restore studios. With more than 200 locations across the country, we deliver innovative science-backed therapies that help increase the quality of life and promote optimal wellness. Clients do not need to be members to enjoy any of our services, however members get better pricing and discounts on skin health services. Dr. Joshua is the owner and dentist of Roots Dental just two blocks down on James Street. He has been actively utilizing PRF for dental surgeries. Dr. Clarkman and his team have recently started offering microneedling (vampire facials) with PRF, PRF bio-fillers, Daxxify (botox), HA (primarily for lips), with the addition of a Deka Co2 laser. The goal is to grow these regenerative facial esthetics within Roots Dental and partner with Restore as the estheticians grow their clientele. Then, hopefully, by next year we will be able to combine the two businesses in the empty retail space that is directly next to Restore. Dr. Joshua and Kristin own the building and are hoping to capitalize on the empty retail space to bring something special to Bellingham, a high-end med spa featuring all the latest services. If you are looking to develop your skills as an esthetician and get in early to help us build this, we have our sights set on something very big. Our goal is to grow an esthetician into their full clinical skillsets.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
Active Esthetician license in applicable state (required).
Minimum 1 year as a professional esthetician.
Passion for delivering excellent client care and skin health outcomes.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
Customer service-oriented with initiative and ability to work independently.

Nice To Haves

Hydrafacial certifications (preferred).

Responsibilities

Deliver personalized consultations and design treatment plans tailored to client goals.
Perform high-quality facials, body treatments, and esthetic services with professionalism.
Educate clients on pre- and post-treatment care to ensure optimal results.
Demonstrate expertise in skin health products and technologies, including Hydrafacial (preferred certifications), Marini Facial/Peels, and Hydropeptide Facials.
Recommend Marini Skin Solutions & Hydropeptide retail products and cross-sell Restore therapies to enhance results and extend benefits beyond the studio.
Support studio operations including tours, member check-ins, and POS transactions.
Contribute to community outreach, promotions, and membership growth initiatives.
Maintain accurate documentation of client treatments and progress.
Ensure all esthetic services follow safety, sanitation, and compliance standards.
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming studio environment.
Model professionalism and uphold Restore’s mission, values, and culture.
