Our broad service offering includes construction materials testing, geotechnical services, environmental engineering, industrial hygiene, and specialty testing.

Responsibilities

  • Perform surveys and air monitoring on asbestos, lead-based paint and indoor air quality (IAQ) arenas
  • Conduct field sampling of soil, groundwater, and other media as part of site assessment and remediation activities
  • Organize and maintain various projects
  • Interact with company personnel and clients
  • Perform equipment calibration
  • Prepare samples
  • Generate reports
  • Oversee temporary and permanent monitoring well installations using various techniques

Requirements

  • 3+ years of previous experience in environmental consulting (soil and groundwater assessments), asbestos, lead-based paint, and mold inspections sampling, and remediation
  • High school diploma or GED Equivalent
  • Ability to work, manage tasks, and schedule independently
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Hold at least one of the following certifications: EPA AHERA accredited Asbestos Inspector, EPA AHERA accredited Asbestos Contractor/Supervisor, NIOSH 582 - Phase Contrast Microscopy Air Sample Analyst, EPA Lead Inspector, EPA Lead Risk Assessor, OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER Training
  • Physically able to lift up to 40 pounds and climb ladders to heights in excess of 20 feet multiple times per day
  • Valid Driver's License and reliable driving record required

Nice-to-haves

  • Higher Ed Degree (Associates or Bachelor's)
  • Knowledge of practical environmental concepts, principles, and practices
