About The Position

We are seeking an Experienced Diesel Technician at our busy travel center location in Houston, TX 77013. In this hands-on role, you will troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair heavy-duty trucks and trailers with accuracy and efficiency. You’ll play a key part in exceeding customer expectations and returning every driver to the road better than when they arrived.This is a great opportunity for a skilled diesel tech who enjoys a fast-paced setting, takes pride in quality workmanship, and wants to be part of a supportive team that values safety and great service.

Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on experience as a Diesel Technician or Heavy-Duty Mechanic (travel center, truck dealership, or fleet shop experience preferred).
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills on heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and related systems.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
• Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and excellent customer service.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; CDL preferred but not required.

Nice To Haves

• ASE certifications, manufacturer training, or other technical credentials are a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate, efficient diagnostic and repair services on heavy-duty trucks and trailers in a professional and accommodating manner.
• Work in a fun, trusting environment focused on delivering exceptional customer service where expectations are consistently exceeded.
• Leverage extensive knowledge of the products we sell and the services we provide.
• Diagnose wear conditions and, together with the Truck Service Advisor or Manager, make clear recommendations to customers.
• Complete repairs within your capabilities and as written on the work order.
• Understand and follow Truck Service Standard Services as well as specialized customer programs.
• Strictly follow all safety guidelines and promptly report any potentially unsafe situations caused by team members or customers.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while upholding high standards of quality and professionalism.
