About The Position

We are seeking reliable and skilled Truck Drivers to join our team at Fodera Foods. The ideal candidates will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle various types of trucks, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks.

Requirements

• CDL B license required.
• 1 year of driving experience required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Strong knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety practices.

Nice To Haves

• Experience as a delivery driver with a strong understanding of route planning.
• Familiarity with operating refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks is highly desirable.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport goods to designated locations in a timely manner.
• Load and unload cargo as required, ensuring proper handling and securing of materials.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours driven and cargo transported.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered on the road.
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding commercial driving.
