About The Position

As a Lead Teacher at Clever Bee Academy, you’ll create and implement curriculum that supports children’s growth, and work with staff to ensure a safe, nurturing environment. Roles are open to join the Clever Bee Academy team at any of our Cleveland locations.

Requirements

• 18 years or older; High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of experience working with children in a licensed childcare center or comparable setting
• CPL III or Child Development Associate Certificate upon hire
• Ability to pass BCI/FBI Background Check

Nice To Haves

• Associate's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or related field with 1+ years experience
• Current CPR and First Aid certification

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate curriculum for infants through school-age children, while maintaining accurate records of each child’s growth and development
• Create a safe, nurturing classroom and lead/support assistants and aides
• Communicate effectively with children, families, and staff to build strong relationships
• Use strong organization, time management, and child development knowledge to support a positive learning environment
