About The Position
As an Experienced CDL-A Truck Driver at J.S. Helwig, you will be part of a leading refrigerated transportation company that prides itself on providing safe, efficient, and reliable services. Our drivers enjoy a competitive starting pay of $0.55 per mile, with the potential for raises up to $0.65 per mile based on performance and tenure. We understand the importance of a good work-life balance, which is why we offer weekly pay and a variety of benefits designed to enhance your driving experience. Our trucks are governed at 68 MPH, ensuring a balance between speed and safety on the road. We are currently offering over-the-road (OTR) positions, and we take pride in our modern fleet, with all equipment being less than three years old. Each truck is equipped with an APU, refrigerator, and 1800 inverters to ensure comfort during long hauls. We also value our drivers' time and comfort during orientation, which is why we fly you to orientation instead of using a bus, and provide a private hotel room for your stay. Additionally, we have a free rider program from day one, allowing you to bring a friend or family member along for the journey. At J.S. Helwig, we believe in rewarding our drivers for their hard work and dedication. We offer a sign-on bonus of $1,000 and a generous referral bonus of $10,000 for referring a friend to join our team.
