About The Position

Southern Development & Construction, Inc (SDC) is seeking a skilled CCTV Operator to operate and manage remote cameras and CCTV equipment for inspecting sewer lines. The role involves ensuring the safety and timely completion of projects while determining the condition of pipes and locating defects or obstructions. Requirements

• Experience with CCTV/Pipeline inspection and quality control.
• PACP certification is required.
• Clean driving record.
• Experience with pipe, lateral, and manhole inspections.

Responsibilities

• Operate and manage CCTV equipment to videotape inside sewer lines.
• Determine the condition of pipes and locate overflows, defects, and obstructions.
• Inspect sewer pipes, stormwater pipes, ducts, lateral launches, and side sewers.
• Adhere to all safety requirements on a site-specific basis.
• Work overtime if needed by supervisor.
• Stand, kneel, walk, etc., for long periods of time.
• Complete OSHA courses to ensure safety knowledge.
• Perform other duties as required by business needs.
