We are seeking an Experienced/Skilled Carpenter to join our passionate team and contribute to our continued success. Why work for us? The Experienced Carpenter is responsible for successfully completing remodeling jobs ranging in scope from a few hours to multiple weeklong projects. They must work with Expediters, Project Managers and their fellow Carpenters to ensure clean, safe, and efficient work sites from start to finish. This role reports to the Production Manager.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
3-5 years of construction experience required, and some residential remodeling experience preferred.
Expertise installing cabinetry, millwork and doors.
Valid Wisconsin Driver's License is desired and an excellent driving record.

Nice To Haves

Lead safe renovator certification preferred or ability to acquire it.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret construction plans.
Build carpentry projects according to plan documents from demolition to framing to trim work.
Work with Expediters throughout the project to address concerns and general progress updates.
Prepare project for work provided by subcontractors.
Train and lead small crew with finding ways to be more efficient and troubleshoot unexpected issues.
Responsible for maintaining a clean job site.
Communicate professionally with homeowners to ensure customer satisfaction.
Interact professionally with vendors and suppliers on the job site.
Provide and maintain personal tools and equipment and ensure proper and safe working conditions.
Maintain a professional image at all times
