About The Position

CareOne Senior Care is seeking an experienced and dependable caregiver for a high-acuity private-duty case in Bloomfield Hills. This position is best suited for caregivers with prior experience handling complex care needs in a home care setting.

This role provides one-on-one care in a private home setting. The caregiver will support a client with higher-level care needs while maintaining safety, dignity, and comfort. Reliability and professionalism are essential.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of caregiving experience (high-acuity preferred)
• Experience with Hoyer lifts strongly preferred
• Experience supporting PEG tube care preferred
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Comfortable driving an accessible or client-provided vehicle
• Ability to pass background screening
• Strong communication and professionalism
• Must be at least 18 years old

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Hoyer lifts
• Experience supporting PEG tube care

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care support with dignity and respect
• Assist with transfers and mobility (including Hoyer lift use)
• Support wheelchair mobility and positioning
• Assist with daily routines, meals, and light housekeeping
• Monitor client condition and report changes appropriately
• Provide transportation to appointments and outings when needed
• Follow care plans and document care as required
