About The Position
At Comfort Keepers, you will spend your days providing joy, friendship, and at-home health care services to seniors and other adults in need of some extra help. As a caregiver, you will allow a senior the familiarity and comfort of staying in their own home without compromising their medical and non-medical care. In addition to maintaining a senior's health and wellbeing, you will work to provide positive experiences that enhance the quality of his or her life. Companionship care and personal care opportunities are available, allowing you to make a significant impact in the lives of those you serve. Competitive rates are offered, starting at $13.00 to $15.00 per hour, with the potential for overtime and holiday pay. The role involves a variety of responsibilities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene care, ambulation assistance, medication reminders, performing errands, shopping, attending doctor appointments, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and providing companionship. You will be part of a caregiver-obsessed culture that fosters growth and development through paid training, both web-based and in-person. The environment is friendly, with 24-hour support available within a trusting, team-oriented atmosphere.
