About The Position

Texas Health Physicians Group is pleased to announce a full time opening for a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner. Here is your chance to work with highly skilled/trained physicians who use state-of-the-art technology and innovative procedures for patients who are diagnosed with a disease of the chest, heart, lungs, esophagus or the major blood vessels and veins of the body.

Requirements

• Active Texas license.
• Nurse Practitioner Board Certification and Experience.
• Degree in NP studies from an approved NP program.
• Graduate of an accredited Advanced Nursing Program.
• Current RN license for the State of Texas.
• Certified Advanced Nurse Practitioner in the State of Texas.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outpatient visits for patients.
• Perform acute care and follow-up visits in a clinical setting.
• Diagnose and treat all forms of heart and blood vessel disease.
• Maintain electronic medical records.
• Meet CME requirements to maintain certification and licensure.
