About The Position
As an Experienced Bootfitter at Vail Resorts Management Company, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the skiing experience for our guests. Your primary responsibility will be to assist guests in selecting the right ski boots, ensuring a proper fit, and providing guidance on stance, balancing, alignment, and custom footbeds. You will be expected to describe and promote products that align with the customers' expressed needs, ensuring they have the best possible experience on the slopes. In addition to fitting guests with the appropriate demo equipment, you will conduct inventory checks of the demo equipment to ensure availability and quality. Your expertise in ski boots and foot function will be essential, as you will need to demonstrate complete knowledge of all aspects of boot fitting and perform all necessary boot work. This position requires you to function independently with minimal guidance, showcasing your extensive experience and training in boot fitting. You may also have the opportunity to train new and existing associates, sharing your knowledge and skills with the team. This role is part of our Winter Seasonal 2024/2025 program, and we are looking for individuals who are passionate about the outdoors and committed to providing an exceptional experience for our guests.
