About The Position

The Experienced BIM Technician will play a crucial role in the architectural design process at Architecture Incorporated, working both independently and collaboratively on project teams. This position involves modeling and developing documentation from the Schematic Design phase through to Construction Documents, utilizing advanced Revit skills and a commitment to leveraging the latest technology to serve clients effectively. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and eager to grow professionally within the firm.

Requirements

• Associate degree or college degree in a related architectural and construction technology program from an accredited institution.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in BIM and architectural design.
• Advanced Revit architecture skills and experience.
• Knowledge of building codes and their proper application.
• Technical knowledge of building construction practices.

Nice To Haves

• Related BIM software experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Set up and organize project files and drawing sheets for assigned architectural projects.
• Assist the Project Architect in drafting floor plans, exterior building elevations, sections, and details for construction documents.
• Coordinate project-related drawing information with Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, and Civil Engineers.
• Identify and communicate problem areas to the Project Architect where conflicts in design arise.
• Generate complete and accurate construction documents that adhere to the drafting design standards of Architecture Incorporated.
