Requirements

• A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a high volume, service focused restaurant.
• Previous bartending experience.
• Must possess a valid alcohol awareness card and a health department card.
• Self-motivated and striving to improve skills and knowledge.
• Fluent in English, both written and oral; multilingual skills are a plus.
• Strong knowledge of spirits, wines, champagne, and mixed cocktails.
• Ability to mix well-balanced cocktails and shots.
• Ability to operate point of sales systems terminal.
• I.P.S. certification and Sanitation certification is preferred.
• Basic mathematical skills specific to job responsibilities.
• Must have valid Food Handlers Card, Liquor License, and Gaming Badge when working.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service to all guests and serve each customer efficiently.
• Prepare, mix, and pour beverages.
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations and equipment.
• Create an atmosphere that induces guests to choose Hard Rock Casino Bristol for gaming entertainment.
• Build and retain guest relations and mentor team members for superior guest service.
• Meet marketing requirements as set by management.
• Focus on upselling.
• Follow established cash handling procedures.
• Possess basic computer abilities and experience with a Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Organize, follow directions, and make quick decisions consistent with company standards.
• Create and maintain service rapport with guests.
• Respond to guest inquiries and requests courteously.
• Greet and serve guests in a timely manner with an upbeat attitude.
• Anticipate guest needs and provide information and directions.
• Adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures and maintain compliance with audit scores.
• Recognize and identify regular guests and use their names.
• Maintain line of sight and atmosphere control by circulating through the work area.
• Assist team members as needed.
• Maintain cordial relations with co-workers and guests.
• Appear in uniform for all shifts and promotional activities on time.
• Comply with all established policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Comply with all state and federal liquor laws.
