Responsibilities

  • Whip up breakfast favorites and call-order meals that keep our guests fueled and smiling.
  • Follow the Daily Prep List and portion items precisely using standard recipe cards—no guesswork here!
  • Stick to our cooking methods, portion sizes, and plating standards for delicious, consistent results.
  • Maintain spotless workstations, keeping tables, shelves, walls, and equipment sanitized according to DHEC regulations.
  • Complete opening and closing checklists to ensure every corner of the kitchen stays tidy and ready for action.
  • Quickly address any equipment or product quality issues, and inform the manager on duty if shortages arise.
  • Work closely with managers and fellow kitchen staff, offering help and sharing tips to keep the kitchen humming.
  • Bring a can-do attitude, adaptability, and a willingness to learn.
  • Remember that everything you do— from plating food to loading the delivery truck—directly impacts our guests’ experience.
  • Safely transport menu items, set up catering events with flair, and ensure top-notch presentation.
  • Return all delivery gear in excellent condition—clean, organized, and ready for the next event.
  • Step in for various tasks, whether prepping, serving, or helping with the setup and breakdown of catered functions.
  • Attend staff meetings prepared with ideas to improve efficiency, boost team morale, and wow our guests.
  • Offer suggestions for new recipes, techniques, or organization methods.
  • Take on other responsibilities as assigned by your manager or Director of Facilities.

Requirements

  • Graduate from culinary school or up to 2 years of hands-on cooking experience (not fast food).
  • Prior experience in catering, including serving and setup, is a big plus.
  • Strong written and verbal skills, and the ability to collaborate with managers and colleagues effectively.
  • Comfortable standing for up to 8 hours and frequently lifting items up to 35 pounds.
  • Able to excel under limited supervision, staying organized and productive.
  • Eager to learn, grow, and refine your culinary talents in a fast-paced environment.
