Commercial Sales & Marketing is seeking an experienced Senior Market Analyst with expertise across the aviation aftermarket services market — including areas within Maintenance & Engineering, Modifications, Freighter Conversions, Training & Simulation, or Aviation Parts & Distribution Services. This role partners with commercial and product teams to produce decision-ready analysis that supports go-to-market planning, investment evaluations, and portfolio prioritization. The Senior Market Analyst leads analytic projects, mentors junior analysts, and represents BGS in cross-functional forums. This role is located in Seattle, WA.

Requirements

  • 7+ Years in aviation related fields.
  • 5+ Years working in or supporting the commercial aviation aftermarket or related fields.
  • Demonstrated experience building forecasting models and conducting scenario analysis.
  • Proficiency with data analysis and visualization tools (Excel advanced; SQL, R/Python, or equivalent; Tableau/Power BI).
  • Strong written and verbal communication; able to prepare concise executive materials.

  • Familiarity with Boeing business units and aftermarket ecosystem.
  • Experience in business strategy or consulting.
  • History of influencing mid- to senior-level commercial decisions.
  • Willingness to travel periodically to engage customers and partners.

Responsibilities

  • Lead market research and competitive analysis projects to identify trends, customer needs, and near-term opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain market forecasts (total, served, and addressable markets) with scenario and sensitivity analyses.
  • Produce executive-ready briefs and dashboards that translate quantitative and qualitative findings into practical recommendations.
  • Support go-to-market and product teams with opportunity assessments, TAM/SAM/SOM calculations, and ROI estimates.
  • Mentor and review work of junior analysts; maintain analytic quality standards and documentation.
  • Engage with internal stakeholders (sales, product, finance) and present findings in business reviews.
