About The Position
Serra CDJR Lake Orion is seeking an Experienced Automotive Technician to join our skilled team in Lake Orion, MI. Put your skills to work in a fast-paced and rewarding environment. Responsibilities Diagnose vehicle issues using modern diagnostic equipment Perform maintenance and repair tasks on engines, transmissions, brakes, and other automotive systems Ensure all work is completed accurately and efficiently to manufacturer specifications Communicate clearly with service advisors and customers regarding required repairs and maintenance Maintain a clean and organized work environment adhering to safety standards Keep up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques Requirements Proven experience as an automotive technician or mechanic Strong knowledge of automotive systems and diagnostic equipment ASE certification or equivalent preferred Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Valid driver’s license Benefits Competitive pay, starting at $30.00 per hour, paid bi-weekly ( rates based on completed certifications ) Comprehensive health insurance options 401(k) retirement plan Employee discounts on vehicle services and products Supportive work environment with ongoing training About the Company Serra CDJR Lake Orion is a leading automotive dealership dedicated to providing quality vehicles and excellent customer service. Requirements
- Proven experience as an automotive technician or mechanic
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems and diagnostic equipment
- ASE certification or equivalent preferred
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license
