About The Position

Lexus Of Edison is seeking an Automotive Technician to join our team. The role involves diagnosing, adjusting, repairing, and overhauling automotive vehicles, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and ensuring vehicles are maintained efficiently. We are looking for B-Level technicians and will compensate based on expected flat-rate production.

Requirements

• Deep understanding of automobiles and speedy diagnostic abilities
• Effective analytical and communication skills
• Eagerness to improve
• Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
• High School Diploma or GED (required)
• Graduated from a post-secondary Automotive Technology Program
• ASE Master Certification/Technical degree (preferred)
• 5+ years of experience as a B-level repair technician in a Lexus or Toyota dealership (strongly preferred)
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Authorized to work for any U.S. employer

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair automotive vehicles
• Perform routine vehicle tune-ups and maintenance
• Provide labor and time estimates for automotive repairs
• Inspect and test new vehicles for necessary adjustments
• Perform thorough multi-point inspections to identify opportunities for additional maintenance
• Complete repairs and maintenance in a timely fashion
• Complete the pre-delivery service on new vehicles
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience
