Requirements

  • Proficiency in general maintenance tasks (oil/filter service, tire mounting & balancing, alignment, fluid changes)
  • Ability to effectively use diagnostic tools & equipment to troubleshoot issues across multiple systems (brakes, steering & suspension, HVAC heating & cooling)
  • Experience in repairing/replacing battery & charging systems
  • Experience in repairing/replacing major engine components
  • Experience in repairing/replacing coolant systems
  • Experience in repairing/replacing drivetrain & powertrain
  • Experience in repairing/replacing exhaust components (including welding)
  • Strong ability to document logical cause-and-effect relationships
  • Comfortable using both hand and power tools
  • 2 to 3 years professional automotive technician experience
  • State certification required

Nice To Haves

  • ASE certification preferred/willing to pursue

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair a variety of vehicle issues
  • Perform routine maintenance
  • Troubleshoot complex problems
  • Use diagnostic tools effectively
  • Work on engines, brakes, transmissions, and electrical systems
  • Ensure each vehicle meets safety and performance standards
  • Perform general maintenance tasks, such as oil and filter services, tire mounting and balancing, and fluid changes
  • Effectively use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot issues across multiple systems, including brakes, steering, suspension, and HVAC
  • Repair and replace battery and charging systems, major engine components, coolant systems, and exhaust components—possibly involving welding
  • Document logical cause-and-effect relationships in your work
