Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or training in automotive services preferred
• Proven experience as an Automotive Service Advisor or in a similar customer service role
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems and repair procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to explain complex automotive terms to customers in a clear and understandable manner
• Proficiency with automotive service management software and computer systems
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Customer-oriented approach with a focus on delivering high-quality service
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, if required

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with their automotive service needs and inquiries.
• Coordinate vehicle drop-off and pick-up with customers, ensuring clear communication.
• Provide accurate cost estimates for service and repair work.
• Maintain detailed records of services, repairs, and customer interactions.
• Communicate effectively with technicians to ensure timely completion of services.
• Inform customers about necessary maintenance and vehicle care tips.
• Schedule appointments and manage the service calendar to optimize workflow.
• Handle customer complaints and concerns, ensuring satisfaction and resolution.
• Promote and upsell additional services and products when appropriate.
• Verify warranty and service contract coverage for customer vehicles.
• Process payments and handle financial transactions accurately.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and service protocols.
• Stay updated on automotive service trends, recalls, and technical bulletins.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized service area and waiting room.
• Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and gather feedback.
