Requirements

• Basic math skills.
• Ability to read calipers, scales, and measuring instruments.
• Basic hand tool experience.
• Good communication with team members in other departments.

Nice To Haves

• Mechanical experience.
• Hydraulic and/or wiring experience beneficial.
• Ability to read basic blueprints.
• Troubleshooting engine and electrical issues.
• Experience with hand tools, wrenches, and air tools.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Use various tools, measuring instruments, screwdrivers, wrenches, grease guns, air tools, and drills to ream and tap holes.
• Install properly fitting compartment doors, door latches, shelving units, electrical systems, tubing, and hoses to the service truck.
• Ensure each truck is built to customer specifications.
• Verify proper instrumentation in trucks when running.
• Troubleshoot instrumental errors.
• Communicate issues to quality technicians or engineers.
