About The Position

Evercore seeks to hire an experienced Analyst or Junior Associate for its Chemicals Advisory group located in New York, NY. Evercore's differentiated approach to advisory provides Analysts with the ability to work closely with senior bankers on industry-transforming, multi-billion dollar transactions around the world. The small transaction team structure creates a strong platform for Analysts to learn investment banking and assume high levels of responsibility at early stages of their careers. As part of the team, the Analyst will have the opportunity to work on a variety of strategic advisory assignments including: sellside and buyside M&A engagements; activism and raid defense; divestitures and spin-off engagements; equity and equity-linked capital-raising; special committee engagements; debt and restructuring advisory and, more broadly, evaluation of strategic alternatives.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of accounting, valuation, corporate finance, and business strategy

  • Eagerness to learn and be involved in complex transactions
