About The Position
The position is for an experienced Aesthetic Therapist/Somatologist urgently needed for a busy Beauty Salon in Lynnwood, Pretoria. The role requires a full Somatology Diploma, First Aid & CPR Certificate, and 3-4 years of working experience in a busy spa environment. The successful candidate will be proficient in a wide range of beauty treatments including manicures, pedicures, various nail treatments, hand & foot massages, and a variety of body massages (Aromatherapy, Sports, Reflexology, Deep tissue, Lymphatic, Calabash or Rungu). Experience with equipment operations for facials such as Microneedling, Hydra Facial, Dermaplaning, and Chemical peels is essential. Other required skills include waxing, threading, brow lamination, lash lift & tint. Strong product knowledge of DERMALOGICA, ENVIRON & OPTIPHI is a must. Key responsibilities involve conducting in-depth consultations, analyzing skin concerns, prescribing personalized treatment plans, educating clients on home care routines, maintaining high hygiene standards, driving retail sales and treatment bookings, and building long-term client relationships.
Requirements
- FULL Somatology Diploma
- First Aid & CPR Certificate
- 3-4 years of working experience in a busy Spa environment as a Somatologist doing Somatology Treatments
- Experience with ALL Beauty Treatment
- Experienced with Equipment Operations
- PRODUCT Knowledge: DERMALOGICA, ENVIRON & OPTIPHI

Responsibilities
- Offer top quality Manicures & Pedicures, and Nail Treatments (Gel, Nail Polish Application, Nail Art an Advantage)

- Perform MASSAGES Incl : (Aromatherapy, Sports, Reflexology, Deep tissue, Lymphatic, Calabash or Rungu)
- Operate Equipment for Facials Hands-On: (Microneedling, Hydra Facial, Dermaplaning, Chemical peels)
- Perform Waxing & Threading (Sugar Waxing an Advantage)
- Perform Brow Lamination, Lash Lift & Tint (Lash Extensions an Advantage)
- Conduct in-depth consultations, confidently analysing skin concerns and prescribing personalised treatment plans
- Educate clients on home care routines and product recommendations
- Maintain exceptional Hygiene standards and a polished, welcoming treatment space
- Drive Retail Sales and Treatment bookings through genuine, results-driven recommendations
- Build and nurture long-term client relationships
