About The Position

Evercore seeks to hire an experienced administrative assistant for its Private Funds Group in New York, NY. Evercore's Private Funds Group (PFG) provides comprehensive, global advisory, and capital raising services to select private fund sponsors. PFG's clients include general partners pursuing a wide spectrum of alternative investment strategies and asset classes, including buyout, growth equity, private credit, infrastructure, energy and power, and real assets. PFG advises and executes on all aspects of the fundraising process, including competitive positioning and market assessment, preparation of marketing materials, investor introductions, and capital closings.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in an administrative role
  • Mastery of Outlook, Teams, zoom; Proficiency in Word, Excel, Power Point; aptitude to learn new software and systems
  • Must have experience with Calendar Management on outlook
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, a 'can do' attitude
  • Strong time-management skills and the ability to organize and coordinate multiple projects at once
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills
  • Flexible team player willing to do what it takes to get the job done; adaptable and enjoys a challenge
  • Candidate will be able to demonstrate a high level of initiative and self-motivation and must be able to work independently, across a variety of responsibilities, and at a fast pace

Responsibilities

  • Cover calendar management and Project Management professionals in the New York Office (Associate to Managing Director)
  • Monthly reconciliation of Vice President and Managing Director expenses
  • Organizing / booking travel across the group
  • Providing administrative assistance, such as answering emails, printing and shipping materials on the Project Management Team's behalf
  • Liaising with internal and external parties on various projects and tasks, including complex scheduling requests
  • Organize and plan client & internal events, including cocktail parties, happy hours, dinners, lunches, etc.
