About The Position

The Experienced Acquisition Professional will support the Airborne High Frequency Radio Modernization program at Robins AFB, Georgia. This role involves planning and implementing development, production, and sustainment activities for the AN/ARC-260 High Frequency radio system, ensuring compliance with acquisition actions and managing the lifecycle of the product across multiple aircraft platforms.

Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Ability to maintain/transfer an active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance.
  • High-school diploma/GED and a minimum of 8 years of experience.
  • Capability to work with functional groups and integrate hardware, software, and automatic test equipment.
  • Experience with DoD Planning, Programming, Budget, and Execution process.
  • Experience managing contract cost, schedule, and performance.
  • Experience managing and forecasting fiscal year budgets and spend plans.
  • Experience with Management Acquisition Reporting.
  • Experience with Depot Activation and Depot Maintenance Activation Working Groups.
  • Experience with 12 Logistics elements including planning, implementing, executing, and documenting.
  • Experience with platform integration across various departments.
  • Experience reviewing deliverables and documenting comments on administrative, substantive, and critical aspects.
  • Experience with Contract requirements including SOW and CDRLs.
  • Ability to travel 10%.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience with AN/ARC-190 or similar High Frequency Radio system.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Project and Integrated Master Schedules.
  • Ability to generate and present PowerPoint presentations.
  • Ability to generate background/point papers.

Responsibilities

  • Direct, develop, or perform program management functions including planning, coordinating, or evaluating acquisition actions.
  • Prepare and coordinate program-level documentation for milestone and acquisition reviews.
  • Plan, manage, and coordinate follow-on development efforts for assigned systems or subsystems.
  • Prepare and coordinate funding documents for contract awards, including monitoring and oversight of funding milestones.
  • Perform periodic independent systems evaluations and develop recommendations for system improvements.
  • Monitor organizational and contractor compliance relevant to milestone and system performance criteria.
  • Collaborate and plan with personnel to coordinate and integrate operations and interests of other organizations.
  • Gather facts and develop solutions to critical problems requiring attention.
  • Use conflict resolution leadership to obtain agreement on required actions and schedules.
  • Perform duties independently, as a team member, or as a team lead.
  • Manage a product's life cycle from design to disposal.
  • Direct the allocation of resources to achieve schedule milestones/events.
  • Develop business relationships with suppliers and clients.
  • Understand client needs and how to meet them.
